VN7| VIETNAM DISCOVERY-14 DAYS / 13 NIGHTS
DAY 1 – ARRIVE SAIGON
Upon arrival in Saigon you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Tonight meet your tour leader (or local guide) for welcome drinks and a tour briefing.
DAY 2 – SAIGON
See the sights of old and new Saigon in the central ‘French quarter’ and visit Cu Chi Tunnels.
DAY 3 – SAIGON
Visit the bustling market streets and old temples of Saigon’s ‘Chinatown’ and then head out of the city to explore the Mekong Delta’s canals, orchards and towns by boat.
DAY 4 – SAIGON TO DALAT
Fly to Vietnam’s temperate Central Highlands and discover peaceful Dalat, a French hill station untouched by war and home to hilltribe minority groups.
DAY 5 – DALAT TO NHA TRANG
Drive down to the coast to Nha Trang, Vietnam’s premiere beach destination.
DAY 6 – NHA TRANG
Enjoy a leisurely boat trip around the islands off Nha Trang,with lunch, a swim and a chance to snorkel.
DAY 7 – NHA TRANG TO HOI AN
Fly to Danang and drive south to nearby Hoi An. Enjoy the architecture, local delicacies and friendly locals that make Hoi An a true Vietnam highlight.
DAY 8 – HOI AN
Today is at leisure to enjoy Hoi An with its many galleries, tailor shops and restaurants.
DAY 9 – HOI AN TO HUE
Drive north along the dramatic coastal road at Hai Van Pass to Vietnam’s former imperial capital, Hue.
DAY 10 – HUE
Visit some of the tombs of the Nguyen Emperors. Wander the last empire’s Forbidden City, the Citadel, as well as the banks of the Perfume River.
DAY 11 – HUE – HALONG CITY
Visit a bustling local market before you fly to Hanoi. On arrival, transfer to Halong City.
DAY 12 – HALONG BAY – HANOI
Spend the morning cruising the spectacular Halong Bay, with it’s thousands of limestone islets that rise out of the sea, as you enjoy a sumptuous seafood lunch onboard. In the afternoon journey to Hanoi before an evening theatrical water puppet performance.
DAY 13 – HANOI
Explore Hanoi with cyclo ride through the Old Quarter, a visit to historic Ba Dinh Square, the infamous Hoa Lo (Hanoi Hilton) prison and the peaceful Temple of Literature.
DAY 14 – DEPART HANOI
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
